讲述了一位心碎的华裔美国网络女主播的故事：她与关系疏远、生命垂危的父亲重逢，而一位古怪的客户给予她的金钱与关注，成了她既能抚慰受伤心灵、又能帮助父亲的方式。

该影片讲述了倩倩与爷爷和共同生活，年小的倩倩因为缺少父母的陪伴，所以独来独往且敏感内向。偶然之间她捡到了小狗小黄，在成长的过程中，彼此守护，共同成长的温情故事。

孤高的修行者山中狼介（洼冢洋介 饰）在危险宗教家阿阇梨（千原浩史 饰）的家中神秘失踪。与此同时，神秘刺客新野风（松田龙平 饰）受狼介女友野野花（芋生悠 饰）委托展开寻找。之后，狼介与新野被法螺号引导，在狼苏山相遇，并在超越次元的镜之洞窟中正面对峙。从过去到现在，再到未来，两人从日本出发，穿越地球，最终到达宇宙。他们看到的究竟是什么？

故事发生在北方一个偏远村庄，一位老来得子的父亲，为儿子能娶上媳妇扛起筹备彩礼的重担。他体弱多病，仍进城辛苦打工挣钱。在一次交通事故中，父亲救下儿子，用生命换来赔偿款筹齐了彩礼，使儿子完成了婚事。
